We stand behind the quality of our faith-inspired streetwear. If something isn’t right, we’ll make it right.

Order Cancellations

Standard cancellation window (most products): Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement. After 24 hours, orders enter production and cannot be cancelled.

Short cancellation window (select products): Some products have a 1-hour cancellation window (this will be clearly mentioned in the FAQ section on that product page). For these products, cancellations are allowed only within 1 hour of placing the order.

To cancel your order, email us immediately at info@eastofeden.store with your order number.

Partial COD (10% Upfront) Orders

For Partial COD orders, you pay 10% upfront to confirm the order, and the remaining amount is paid at delivery.

If you cancel within the applicable cancellation window, we refund only the upfront 10%, because the remaining amount was not collected.

Refunds on Cancelled Orders (Payment Processing Fee Deduction)

If your order was prepaid (online payment) and you cancel within the allowed window, your refund will be processed after deducting payment processing fees charged by Razorpay and Shopify.

  • Fee deducted: 4% + 18% GST (on the fee)
  • What this means: You won’t receive 100% of the original amount back because these fees are charged on the original transaction and are not recovered during refunds.
  • Example: If your order total was ₹1,000, the deduction is ~4.72%, so you receive ~₹952.80 back.

Note: This deduction applies only to prepaid orders. COD orders cancelled within the window have no fee to deduct.


Returns & Exchanges

What We Accept for Returns

  • Defective or damaged items: Manufacturing defects, printing errors, or damage during shipping.
  • Wrong item sent: If we sent you something different than what you ordered.
  • Significant size discrepancies: If the item is significantly outside our published size chart measurements (beyond ±0.5 inches).

Return Window

You have 5 days after delivery to request a return. This gives you adequate time to properly inspect your order.

How to Request a Return

Contact us at info@eastofeden.store within 5 days with:

  • Your order number
  • Unboxing video clearly showing the defect or damage
  • Clear photos of the damaged item and original packaging
  • Brief description of the problem

Important: An unboxing video is required for all defective/damaged item claims to verify the issue occurred during production or shipping.

Return Process

  1. Contact us first: We’ll review your request within 24 hours.
  2. Get approval: We’ll send return shipping address and instructions if approved.
  3. Ship it back: Send the item to our fulfillment center (we’ll reimburse verified return shipping costs for approved defective items).
  4. Get your refund: Processed within 5–7 business days after we receive the item.

What’s Not Returnable

  • Items in perfect condition (change of mind).
  • Wrong size ordered by customer (please check our size chart carefully).
  • Items damaged by customer misuse.
  • Items without original tags.

Size Policy

  • Manufacturing errors: If the item doesn’t match the size you ordered due to our error, we’ll replace it free of charge.
  • Customer sizing mistakes: If you ordered the wrong size for your preferences, we cannot accept returns or exchanges.
  • Size variations: All apparel has a standard measurement tolerance of ±0.5 inches, which is normal for garment production.

Delivery Issues

  • Undelivered Orders: If an order is returned due to incorrect address or refusal, we’ll hold it for 100 days and offer one free re-shipment.
  • Lost Packages: If tracking shows your order is lost in transit, we’ll send a replacement or issue a full refund.
  • Damaged Packaging: If your package arrives damaged, note it with the delivery person and contact us immediately.

Refund Process & Timelines

Refund Timeline

  • Approved returns: 5–7 business days after we receive the item.
  • Lost packages: 3–5 business days after carrier confirms loss.
  • Cancelled orders: 3–5 business days.

Payment Processing Fee Deduction

For prepaid orders and the 10% upfront on Partial COD, refunds are processed after deducting payment processing fees (Razorpay + Shopify). These fees (~4.72%) are not reversed back to us by the payment partners when a refund is issued.

Example (Partial COD): If you paid ₹100 upfront, the refund will be approximately ₹95.28.

Important: We do NOT deduct fees if the refund is due to our fault (wrong item, manufacturing defect, or lost package). In these cases, you receive a full 100% refund.

Refund Method

Refunds are processed to your original payment method. Bank processing may take an additional 2–3 business days. For Partial COD, if any balance was collected post-delivery, that balance is refunded via UPI/bank transfer.
